Counseling Services, LLC
New Directions
Counseling
We provide telehealth counseling in Illinois for individuals of all ages, couples, and families.
Counseling is sought for a variety of reasons, including stress management, relationship concerns, school or work concerns, depression, anxiety, trauma, adjustment difficulties, and so on.
EMDR
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy is an extensively researched, effective psychotherapy method proven to help people recover from trauma and other distressing life experiences, including PTSD, anxiety, depression, and panic disorders.
Outreach
We believe in the power of community engagement and stigma reduction.
Outreach events provide communities the opportunity to increase awareness of mental health and decrease the stigma of reaching out for help.
Supervision
Clinical supervision is a requirement in Illinois for providing clinical mental health services. We are qualified to provide supervision and appropriate documentation that is needed for state licensure.

Our Approach
We use a holistic approach to counseling, which encompasses all aspects of a person's life. Rather than treating just the symptoms, this approach looks deeper and tries to uncover underlying causes. This allows us to focus on the connections between mind, body, and spirit.
We are also dedicated to facilitating mental health treatment, education, and awareness while using an inclusive lens. While it is important to explore individual experiences, we also recognize the need to be aware of historical and current structural systems of inequality.
