Do you ever feel that your logical self doesn't match your emotional self? You logically know something to be true (or untrue), but it just doesn't feel that way? These treatments help connect the two which can lead to a dramatic decrease in symptoms, thoughts, and negative self-beliefs.

These highly researched and effective treatments focus on processing distressing life experiences and traumas through the use of neurophysiological sources of emotional and physical pain.

Not sure which treatment would be best for you? Just let your counselor know and they will be able to find the best fit based on your needs.

Eye Movement
Desensitization & Reprocessing (EMDR)

"Go with that..."

EMDR is designed to help individuals process and heal from distressing or traumatic experiences.

Through the use of bilateral stimulation, such as guided eye movements, EMDR supports the brain's natural healing process, reducing emotional distress and help develop more adaptive beliefs and increased resilience.

Brainspotting

"Where you look affects how you feel"

Brainspotting is a brain-body approach that helps individuals process unresolved experiences, emotional pain, and distress that may be stored beyond conscious awareness.

Using specific eye positions, it accesses deeper parts of the brain involved in emotional processing and healing. This approach can help reduce symptoms related to trauma, anxiety, stress, and performance challenges.

Hypnotherapy

Hypnotic trance is the shifting back and forth between the conscious and the subconscious mind. This is a natural process that occurs 80% of every day for most people. It also allows access to the deep unconscious.

Hypnosis works by giving suggestions in the altered trance state. Hypnotherapy works by resolving inner conflicts and dissolving inner trauma to emerge as a transformed person.

Ego-State Therapy

Healing through parts

Ego-State Therapy is an approach that helps individuals understand and work with different "parts" of themselves that may have developed through life experiences, stress, or trauma.

By fostering communication and healing within these parts, Ego-State Therapy can support greater emotional balance, self-compassion, and lasting change.
